On page 8 Lane says, "The human's persistent effort to anchor meaning in place expresses itself in endless variations." This quote talks about how we as humans always try to "anchor meaning" in a place that means something to us. It also says that there are many different ways that we as humans can find our "meaning" in life. This speaks to me because I personally have not found that meaning, but am hopeful in finding it one day.
