Phenomenology of prayer #2

pp. 71-72
On theses pages of Phenomenology of Prayer, the book is talking about Prayer as a kenosis. The best line that describes this is “… in relation to goodness that makes one good, once can, therefor, pray for goods only as a means to do good.” This goes to show that those who really understand what prayer is about know that you pray for the wellness and health of other instead of goods that describes things. This is what many need to do instead of making a wish list.
