Practice Patience (Own Topic)
Patience is somewhat of a lost practice. People nowadays have access to almost anything they desire. Want to skip a line? Just order ahead for pickup. Want to read a book? Buy an online version. The ability to get things almost the second we think about them is great in many ways, but it also makes these experiences less meaningful. Less thought is put into what you actually want. When is the last time you went into a book store and spent time looking through the isles of books to pick one out? People are now able to get things almost instantaneously at the touch of their fingertips. This makes us all a lot less patient. When talking to maybe a grandparent, or someone much much older you might wonder why they are talking so "slow" and that's because you're used to everything being so fast and not putting much thought or meaning behind what you do. Practicing patience is a great way to re establish yourself and get back the connection we have all lost within ourselves and become more spiritual people.
