The Case for a Creator Book

One quote that stood out to me in this book was when one of the characters asked, "Why should God rule and I serve?" I have had this thought too-- wondering why should our happiness or the way we live our lives depend on God's will and not our own? I thin there has been a lot of times too where I have heard people blame things they have done on the "will of God" instead of taking responsibility for their actions. I think it is good to think there is a main plan for ourselves, but I also think that it is important to be able to be proud of one's self if they did something good, instead of giving all the credit to God. I think it is important to serve others, though, just not doing it all by God's plan, but by the own kindness of one's heart.
